Matt Niederhauser brings over a decade of multidisciplinary experience in both architecture and landscape architecture, allowing him to approach each project with a comprehensive and integrated design perspective. He earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in 2013 and went on to work with several nationally recognized architecture and landscape architecture firms, where he worked on projects ranging from high-end residential estates to large-scale commercial and institutional developments. In 2021, Matt founded Montane Design with the vision of creating landscapes that blend innovation with enduring beauty—spaces that are functional, contextually grounded, and deeply connected to their environment. His work is guided by a strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering meaningful outdoor experiences that stand the test of time.
